Subject: Side Imaging Question - where to mount and use it

I am playing with the idea of purchasing a side-imaging unit. I currently have standard depth finders (down imaging) at both the console and bow.

Looking for recommendations on best location to use the side-imaging capability. Should I mount it at my console for slow trolling and investigating an area to fhelp define where I want to fish or should I put in on the bow to use while casting? I'd appreciate thoughts from anyone who would like to weigh in.

Jerry
