When you remove batteries for storage, top them off with distilled water (assuming you have this type), give all of them a full charge (10 amp charger) and store in your garage. Check them every 4-6 wks and top off if needed with the charger.

Good batteries should rarely need anything more. It's worked well for me for over 30 yrs. w/zero issues.

I store them off the cement floor on a well-supported shelf but with the batteries of today I'm not even sure that's needed anymore.
