I agree, for the handful of times you have to do this per season it's worth it IMO and a better trade off than having to constantly work around the passenger console - which for the way I fish is in the way of laying rods on the port deck, landing bigger fish by netting, etc). Plus just more elbow room and cockpit space.

I also agree, the best solution I've seen is the pocket that BassCat has to slide nets into. They also just put one into the new Yar-craft 20 foot tiller.
