What Will said. Had mine go out first right turns then left during the Schneider this weekend....Knew i should have replaced it last weekend. I have been buying Terrova parts from Northland Marine by mail and would recommend them. Easy to order parts from.


Unit would stop and not turn one or the other direction? Which did you wind up changing, the Steering Housing or the Steering Housing Motor? Minnkota says to check the wires from Steering Housing to control board. Unplug from control board and apply 12v. If turns properly and the other way when +/- are reversed, then it's the drive housing.
