Yes still worth it..... For what they cost I can't think of a reason why anyone would not have one. Especially with an ulterra. Let's pretend that for some reason your batteries did die. Which in my 4 months with the charger almost sounds impossible. All you would do is start your boat for 5 min and done. I have not tried the manual stow. But in the instructions it doesn't look like the easiest or most fun thing to do on the water.
