I was heading up to Canada when my left Carlisle tire threw off about 14 inches of tire tread trashing a fiberglass Rangertrail fender. A close friend who used to be CEO of that Carlisle said I shouldn't take any chances and get new non-Carlisle tires before retuning to Ohio. The tire company in Espanola only had Carlisle and Asa brands. Does anybody know anything about the Asa's?

I know both brands are made in China which probably isn't a good thing.
