like sporstman i did it myself too, by the way no bearings at the prop end its a bushing pressed in tail housing and costs less to change housing than bushing and comes with bushing and seal on the housing...my problem was some vibration causing a humm that even my partner heard or felt in the back of the boat at lower speed . the tech where i bought parts told me very frequent problem !
