Location: Waconia, MN | I just had a Helix 9 DI installed and had my boat out for the first time this past weekend on Mille Lacs and everything is working awesome, but I do however have one question. I noticed that at high speed (30 MPH or higher) it seems that I my sonar loses bottom, or the graph portion becomes very faint in color and I also noticed that my depth reading went to from 14ft to 60 ft. and we all know that Mille Lacs is not 60 feet, but at slower speed its perfect, and I’m not on the DI screen at high speeds.
Any ideas?
I was thinking that maybe I need to mess around with sensitivity maybe?
