I have been in both, I see guys running around on LOTW in 618 consoles and they do just fine...sure when it gets bad a 619 is going to handle it better, but can a 618 handle big water, sure... as can a 618 tiller... if you only fish big water once a year, just know that in 3 footers you might be going a little slower than you would in your 619...
