I have a 4 bladed aluminum Mercury prop that I want to paint, so as to make it look like new again. There is bare metal showing on all of the outer portion of the blades. I will be picking up a spray can of Mercury "Phantom" Black paint from the dealer next week.
Have any of you painted an aluminum prop before and are there any tips or suggestions you might have for me regarding this project? Any feedback would be much appreciated.
