So my wife gave me the green light to start pricing the 165 competitor tiller after seeing it at a dealer. I already heard the storage isn't dry which is a bummer but not a deal breaker. Im going to check it out at the dealer again this weekend and check the side Rod locker size and if it will for sure fit my 8 6 rod. Other then that I started getting quotes and they are in the ball park of where i want and are truly a nice bargain boat and the huge beam will give us the space for me, my wife, and the two future kids for the next 10 years and later we can upgrade when the kids get bigger too a 18ft tiller. The packages im pricing are with a 70 yamaha with hydraulic steering, upgraded bunk trailer, 80# terranova with ipolit link connected to a helix 9 si at the control center. I started with a local dealer in se wi but going to get prices from at least 4 others. Looking for opinions about the boat in general and even setup suggestions but i want the i pilot link for sure and dont want to go to crazy on electronics. I cast 100% of the time so trolling not a concern at all thanks.... We are also looking at the crestliner pro tiller 1650
