I used one of those 9W RGB floods tuned to red on the pontoon boat, used a squeeze clamp to anchor it to the white anchor light or rails as needed. Can wire it to a cigarette lighter plug or use a couple alligator clips to go to the battery, they have a wireless remote to turn on/off or change colors. I used red because it doesn't wreck your night vision or draw bugs as much...
