Have a buddy with a 150 Suzuki on his 1890. I think it performs very well. He says it's a bit sluggish with 3 guys and the livewell full of water and suckers. If you go 150 just prop it correctly and you should be very happy. I have an 1890GT with a 90HP 4 stroke. It performs just fine. More HP would be better but the USCG says 90 is what we get.
