Location: Ashland WI		I have a 91 40hp Johnson on my 91 Tuffy Esox. The boat is 16'9'', and I believe it weighs around 800 + 140 for the motor.

It is plenty powerful for me. Gets up on plane quick enough, and top speed is in the upper 20's.
