I Ball has no wires. It has a magnetized base that sits on my hitch. Camera is on a swivel mount and I have it pointed right at my hitch. Receiver unit goes into the cigarette lighter power port and has a flexible cable so I can get it just right for viewing.

Takes about 30 seconds to get setup to back the truck up. Lines up perfectly every time. About the only little issue I had was with rollback with the truck. Things looked perfect on the camera, so I put the truck in park, then it rolls back 3 inches or so and now I'm too far. So, I just had to learn how to compensate for that.

Very easy. I can see where it could have a lot of other uses as well. Very nice little unit that is very easy to use.
