Subject: Suggestions for Good Trailer Bunk Carpet

Hi Folks - wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for trailer bunk carpet. I replaced mine last year, but didn't look into it very well and used some liter carpet. Unfortunately a hole has already worn through on one of the corners on the front of one of the boards. We replaced the boards last year too because some were rotting. When we replaced them we plained down some of the high corners that would have a ridge to rub on. We'll probably plain a little more off when replacing this time too.

I'm looking for a durable carpet that will last through nuclear war because it's a pain in butt replace. Not happy about having to do it a second year in a row, but my mistake. Noticed some boat carpets go up to 24oz or maybe 32oz ratings. Should I be looking at these?

I have a Tuffy Osprey 1760 for what will be riding on it.

Any need for padding or adhesives under the carpet too? We just stretched the carpet last year. Seemed that's what was OEM on the trailer from before that.

Thanks,
Marc
