On a single axel trailer doesn't need to ride flat. And any hitch will make almost no difference in tw. Moving a winch post 3 inches back will make tw more than 75# less and more than likely cause the boat to sway over the axel more making it much more dangerous to operate. i have a 2014 ram 1500 and if I hook up 500# of tw it will squat 3".
