Don't know about Navionics maps being shared over the network...the Canadian one I have does not work that way.
I have the Lakemaster WI v. 6 (and 5 and 4...) and if you fish "hi-def" lakes, it's really the best I've seen. I also have the WI Lakemaster Plus, and being able to see satellite views of the shore line is useful info at times.

I've run the Lakemaster Lake of the Woods/Rainy Lake high deff maps the last couple of years - they are as good as the WI maps. I just purchased the Lakemaster Plus for LOTW and Rainy...I expect it to be as good as the WI maps too.

There are so many features you can use that I'd find it hard to go back to Navioncs even though I don't have any issues with them...but with Lakemaster being part of Humminbird these days, the integration is really good...and I run an Ulterra with iPilot and Link, which kicks things up another notch.

Do your Helix units support SmartStirke? http://www.humminbird.com/Products/SSWI2/
I know the update/upgrade is on its way if it's not already here.

SMARTSTRIKE

Get advice the locals won't give you with a Humminbird® SmartStrike™ map card. Based on search parameters like season, time of day, temperature and fish species, SmartStrike highlights areas of the lake map where fish are most likely to be biting. No more guessing or wasted casting. Just fishing. Exclusive to Humminbird LakeMaster® High-Definition inland freshwater systems, and compatible with the HELIX™ 12, 10 and 9 models in March 2016 (software update required).

If they do, I'd add that as well.
Autochart Live is the Cat's jammies, too. Map your own lake in hi-def.
