I talked to a buddy, and he said he knows a guy with a Nitro 21 footer, who has 2x4 composite wood boards, for his bunks.
The guy loves them! He said his boat slides off and on, like a dream.
He will never go back to wood.
He put stripes of carpet on them, so it has a little more grip on them.
Doesn't leave any marks on boat.
They are expensive, but won't rot out.
I thinking on using them on my Crestliner 1850,
