Anyone driven the new pro v bass with the 150hp merc? I know the old addage of "always max out your hp", but the idea of saving 3-4K at this price point is appealing.
There's going to be a lot of those boats sold with a 150 on them so I wouldn't worry about resale. A 150 is going to put you in the low 50s which is fast enough for most people. For people that want more speed, they probably won't be looking at the Pro V bass to begin with. There are other comparable boats out there with a 150 max rating so I wouldn't let the 200 max HP tag get in the way. |
