So I haven't taken a ranger apart but I would expect 1/2" plywood with a couple layers on fiber glass on top. You will have to cut this out, and as long as you can cut without going though the hull you will be good. In some areas it may be beneficial to leave a 3" ring of old floor so you can rest the new floor on top of it. I wish I had all the pictures from rebuilding two warriors and that trick helped on the second one, expect the unexpected. And plan to remove all the floatation foam. Probably replace stringers. And when you get the base set up and foam in and your about to lay the floor down know where the seat was( and will be if you want it closer or further away) but you can slip some hefty aluminum underneath so the seat base screws really bite hard.
