Location: Wisconsin		I believe the floor and transom are really the only spots on these boats that can be an issue, from all I have read/seen. So, it would be worth a good inspection of those two areas for sure. I can't remember what year they stopped using wood?? If you are set on a tiller, I would try to find one that started that way, but that's just my opinion. Hope you find one you like.
