Location: Madison		I am looking at getting a new trolling motor and adding a quick release plate. I will be keeping the old TM as a back up. Are the plates truly universal? Could I have a terrova on one and a maxxum on the other? Are they fairly easy to swap out and can I mount the new bracket in the existing holes. I know Minn Kota says that, but I just want to make sure their info is accurate.
