Couple tips for you that work for me. I removed the tabs on the pedal for anchor lock and constant on. Too many times I accidentally touched one and the results were not good. Just keep the remote handy and you're good for other functions.
I also have the Lowrance gateway and all I need to know like power percentage and heading shows up on the graph. No need to keep looking at a remote.
