This sort of shows my radio mounted. The radio is in the panel right under the Lowrance. (I currently have an HDS10 Gen2 mounted in the RAM mount, and I moved the HDS8 shown up front to the bow).
The radio works well here and I would not change a thing. AS mentioned, if you look very closely through the walkthru, you can see the white antenna laying down along the right side of the casting deck.
