Subject: Bunk Carpet Replacement

I own a Triton bass boat and the trailer bunk carpet needs to be replaced. I am certain that I want to reuse the lumber for the bunks because they are coated in Paraffin and are not rotting nor will they ever; which presents a minor issue.

Anyone have a suggestion, experience or knowledge on how I can get the trailer out from under the boat? I am thinking that I could have the carpet reattached and mounted again within a day or two. Any input would help.

Thanks
