I have a 2008 Tacoma 4-door with the V6 and it has been a great truck. Nothing but routine maintenance in my 6 years. I have a 17'5" semi-deep V Lowe's boat with a 70 HP and it tows my boat great. Granted, your Fish Hawk is a little heavier but the Tacoma will handle it with no problems. As I boat shop I am looking at the Lund 1875 and 18'-19' fiberglass bass boats which are in the same range as your Fish Hawk. I have no doubts the Tacoma will handle any of those boats fine. With the towing package the Tacoma is rated for up to 6500 lbs. Now mileage is another story. The mileage is awful when towing. I calculated my mileage once on a trip home from Kentucky Lake and I was around 12 mpg. I've never calculated it since. Just an FYI, I'm going to be replacing my Tacoma with another in a few years. I too am turned off by the Colorado's styling. Just yesterday I was parked next to one and gave it a real long look and didn't really like it.

Thanks for the reply! 12mpg isn't too bad. My 5.0 F150 usually averages 12-14 at 60-70mph.
