I just finished season #9 (yes 9th) on my outboards original battery. this battery also runs my locator.
I charge it before it slumbers outside in brutal minnesota all winter. I dont disconnect anything. simply charge it and leave it until the first good thaw sometime in April then charge it again. then charge once more before putting in water. thats it.
Hope to see a tenth season on it and dont see why it wouldnt.
