I too have a Yamaha 4 stroke (F150). I change the oil and lower unit gear lube, but have never fogged the engine. 7 years so far, stored indoors but not heated, Northern IL and mid WI winters---no trouble Starts like a champ each spring and runs smooth all year..

My opinion only...but I think you'll be OK. KGW...
