Neither. 1860 Angler w/ rails on the front so you are allowed to seat people up there. Better fishing platform, and will do everything ski/pleasure for your family needs. Reata's are nice, but are more pleasure boats than fishing boats. 1860 Angler is more fishing than pleasure, but pleasure is still very nice in them.

I have an 1860 as well....I am pretty pleased with it, for the most part. It is certainly a 2 person musky boat, but with 2 people you will fish effectively with plenty of room for all your junk. I have taken others out for joyriding as well and it's pretty easy to have 4 in there without all the musky junk. Very safe, stable platforms. The boat is certainly not a speed demon...but I wasn't expecting it to be. Not sure what 50+mph would get me over 48. Don't really care at this point in my life about that... I wanted a nice shiny ranger, as new as I could afford, with a 4 stroke engine that requires little maintenance. And that's what I got...
