Location: Grafton, WI		I had one 10' talon on my boat, and just added a second. As others stated, it's extra weight, but not too much. Adding one (or two) would compare to adding an additional battery - depending on the size.
The benefits are truly amazing. My new favorite is launching the boat myself and not having to leave the truck.
I maybe lost 2mph, and don't notice a difference in how the boat sits in the water.
