As a 620 owner myself, I asked Randy Hopper (Ranger President) about this at a show recently. I asked if he was a bit concerned about pricing himself right out of his best customers' ability to buy. He seemed genuinely concerned about this. I bought a 2008 620 for $48,000 loaded up (except no kicker) in 2008. That boat today would be over $65,000. That is a 27% increase in price in 7 years or around 4%/yr, which in and of itself is not outrageous BUT, when talking about this price range, it's possible to out-price your market. I cannot afford (nor is it intelligent to do so) $70k for a boat to fish in. I could in 2008....but not now, and my job etc has not changed. In other words, they lost a loyal customer because their product is too expensive.
