I bought a bass boat this year and after fishing bigger water for the first time I wish I would have bought a v style hull. Just my opinion.


This is something I have really wrestled with. For 95% of my fishing, a traditional bass boat would suffice and probably half the time it would be best. If the water is going to be too rough, I don't go out regardless. But for when the water gets nasty, a deep V would be ideal. Considering you can find a used bassboat and not find a used X-190, I have opened up what I'd consider. If the right gently used 18-19' bassboat catches my eye, I'll pull the trigger. If not, I'll buy new which is what I don't want to do.

Not to get off topic Muskyfishing89 but I know we are looking at the same kind of boats.
