| The 9.9 and the 15 Merc are the same size/weight motors, so, I might be tempted to go to the 15, price being the same? The 25 Yammy would be heavier, so you have that to think about.
Are these portables, or true kickers with the heavy duty brackets and tilt trim. A true kicker is designed to be tilted up when running the big motor. Portables present issues with broken tilt brackets and motor mounts when strapped down using a 2X4, etc. Don't think the 25 Yammy is a true kicker, but the Merc's could be? | |
