Location: Lake Elmo, MN		I tried several fixes before, finally relenting and buying a new one. These pneumatic devices have a very fixed life (in the 5-7 yr range IMO) and really cannot be fixed for anything even medium term.
Best to buy new now and enjoy it. You'll be doing it shortly anyway.
