| I have posted before about the prop on my 2002 Lund Angler SS 1700 with a 2002 Mercury 115 4 stroke. I thought I found the right prop but I am not happy with it. Presently I have a Propco 13 1/4 x 17 stainless. With just me 250 pounds, 16 gals of gas, no gear, I run WOT 5900 rpm at 43 mph with a real good hole shot. I fill the tank with gas, 32 gallons, 10 hp kicker motor with 3 gal tank, 2 guys at 450 pounds and muskie gear for both guys. I then run 37 mph, 5300 rpm and a lousy hole shot. Can anybody recommend a different prop, possibly a 3 or 4 blade or something to get more performance when I am loaded down for fishing. Thanks guys | |
