Tahoe, like Greg, I also went from a Crestliner to 'glass recently, and you won't be disappointed if you do the same.

If the boat is only going to be used as a family toy 25% of the time, then the other 75% of the time you are on the water chasing muskies you will have to put up with a fish/ski boat. Go with the fishing layout, and the family won't know the difference when they are out with you a couple times per year.


Either way you choose, take your time picking the right boat, and make sure you get to test drive any of them you are seriously considering.
