Most stabilizers are bottled up antioxidant material that fuel refineries use to extend shelf life to pump gas, so those products have one temporary benefit.

Sea Foam is a combo of highly refined petroleum oils that dissolve gum and varnish, clean fuel deposits, stabilizes, and lubricates all the way through the exhaust stroke. There’s a lot more bang for your buck, it’s harmless, and it flat out works!
