Subject: Transferring LCX icons to HDS units




Location: 31		After not finding any help on the Internet, and many failed attempts to transfer some of my LCX icons to HDS waypoints, a good friend of mine finally figured out what the problem is.

The basic step that was sadly missed in this Lowrance lesson is that you cannot have any trails/routes saved with the icons/waypoints on the SD card.

Even if there's the smallest trail attached when you save the copy, you will get an error parsing route message… otherwise just follow the steps in the video and the old LCX icons become non-numbered waypoints.
