I don't believe that threaded plug is specific to Ranger, at least on mine it doesn't seem to be, as I purchased one at a non Ranger dealership once, when heading north on a trip. On another occasion, i took a piece of wooden dowel(stick to be exact) and wrapped a piece of walmart bag around it in an emergency situation where we lost the plug during a trip, and it didn't leak the entire three days we were there, pulling it out/replacing with a new threaded plug upon getting home. Ranger also has a good turn around for quickly shipping parts if you call, but I'd assume a marina in your vacinity will have one.
