Location: MN		Some Lakemaster chips work in both brands and some do not. I do not believe the new Lakemaster chips will work in Lowrance units because Humminbird bought Lakemaster. I believe the Onix takes the new chips so I don't think the chip that was in your Lowrance would work in it but you could always take your chip to a store and put it in an Onix unit that is on display to test it.
