Location: Colgate, WI		I'd look hard at the used market. Lots of good buys to be had, especially with a $40K budget. A couple of years back I got a 6 year old Pro-V for $26K and since have probably added $5K in electronics, trolling motor and would be way under your budget.

Swallowing that initial depreciation was too much for me and I got a boat I otherwise could never afford new.
