On that note, has anyone "perfected" storing longer rods outside of the rod locker with any special mounts or ideas they would like to share. I remember Mike Winther had a."ram mount?" Mounted in front of the counsle
yep, works great. been using some version of it for 8 years now.
i don't have any good pics, but you can see it in the ones attached.
all i did was add a ram ball to the gunnel near each console, then attached a wall-rack rod holder to the flat ram sonar mount. not sure where i copied the idea from.
