On that note, has anyone "perfected" storing longer rods outside ofv the rod locker with any special mounts or ideas they would like to share. I remember Mike Winther had a."ram mount?" Mounted in front of the counsle (tuffy x190 that I saw up.at spring bay/The V in 07) on the ram mount was a sectioned rod holder that held a few rods out of the way with the rod tips pointing towards the back, angled just off the counsle. It appeared that even a rough water ride would keep the rods from bouncing around, getting tangled in each other. I like that idea for rods kept out, but secure.
