| I ran a Group 27 Dual Purpose in my Tuffy 1890DS, after the original Group 24 cranking only battery would not get me through a whole day of a walleye tournament with sonars and livewell running. That battery was an Intestate battery, and worked great, both starting the 200HP Optimax, and running my electronics all day long.
FYI, Northern is a just wholesaler and retailer of batteries. They do not manufacture batteries, theirs or any other brand. There are only a few manufacturers of batteries in the US. Johnson Controls is the largest, and hey produce several brands. | |
