Location: 31 | With boats (and automobiles) I've found that the silver/gray hides dirt and water spots best like Steve says… black is definitely the worst color and not worth the extra maintenance IMHO.
I only wash my boat once or twice a year, but last fall I got tired of looking at the hard water spots that accumulate around the motors, so I used a product called Lime Away… and it worked like magic.
However, I'm concerned that with repeated use the gel-coat might be damaged, and was wondering if anyone else has experience with this, or a better product to remove those stubborn hard water stains.
