| This issue happens when guys take the motor out of the water, leave the sonar unit on then move across the lake to a new spot, deploy the motor. The graph will not read right away. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. The whole time you are driving from spot to spot the ducer is pinging outer space.
Now I turn my unit off each time OR I put it in standby mode. Some people think that these things have a shelf life of only X # of power ups so they want to leave them on, but I just turn it off usually especially if I am going on a longer run. | |
