I too have had a tiller, side console and full windshield. No denying a full windhsield is great on a crappy day... but to the point above - I fish far more than I drive the boat at high speeds. After having a full windshield that was constantly in the way I have gone back to a tiller. Would I consider a side console again - yes. But the full windhsield I found to be a pain the majority of the time.
