It's all a personal preference and what's most important to you. I cast only and fish 3 often. I prefer single console and no windshields. Double bubbles look good but are more decoration than anything. In my opinion, consoles and windshields are all in the way when actual fishing is going on. Yes it's cold in Canada in October and the sleet and snow stinks sometimes but goggles work fine. The passenger can sit on a cushion on the floor with there back to the wind and sleet. Works out fine usually. If I had too, double bubble.
