Walk throughs offer much better protection from wind, rain, and sleet, but also catch more wind and can get in the way of casting or moving about the boat.
I chose the walk-thru on my MX1825 because as I get older I want the most protection from the wet and cold as I can get and the React keel and 36 volt Terrova will make catching wind with the windshield a non-issue.
